Acquisition of works for execution of the bicycle lane from Timisoara to Serbian border
The project consist into bicycle lane along the Bega river, having 2 to 2.5 m width and 36 981 km length, located on the crowning of the dam. Road systems consists of a layer of foundation of ballast to the thickness of 10 cm, a base coat of crushed stone in thickness of 15 cm and a wear layer of asphalt concrete in thickness of 4 cm. To protect structure will be foreseen 14 barriers operated manually, to all the major roads and side access. The materials of works amounting more than 100 000 to, according to the bill of quantities. There are more than 37 000 to of ballast and more than 45 000 to of crushed stone which have to be transported for 50 km. Also, there are almost 8 700 to of asphalt concrete to be layered to the approx. 37,0 km of the crowning. The Contracting Authority has some requests regarding the access to the site in order to preserve the existing parameters of the dam – its resistance structure, access platforms and existing slopes – so, during the periods of rainfall (spring, fall, winter) the dam is impassable, leading to a cessation of the activity.
